Senior Exploration GeologistWhite Gold Corp. is a well-funded junior exploration company operating exclusively in the emerging White Gold District of Yukon, Canada. The Company controls a dominant land position exceeding 300,000 hectares across more than 20 exploration properties, ranging from early-stage targets to advanced deposits.The Companys flagship White Gold Property hosts four near-surface gold deposits containing a combined mineral resource of approximately 1.73 million ounces of gold in the Indicated category and 1.27 million ounces of gold in the Inferred category. White Gold Corp. is advancing an aggressive, discovery-focused exploration strategy aimed at growing existing resources while unlocking new discoveries across its extensive portfolio.White Gold Corp. is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to join its growing technical team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Exploration, this role offers a rare opportunity to work across a large, district scale portfolio and to play a meaningful role in generating and advancing new discovery concepts in one of Canadas most prospective gold districts.The RoleThe Senior Exploration Geologist is a senior technical position responsible for portfolio-scale data compilation, interpretation, and target generation, with hands-on involvement in planning and executing exploration programs.The role combines office-based geological synthesis, modelling, and reporting, with active field participation during the Yukon field season. The successful candidate will contribute meaningfully to exploration strategy, independently advance geological interpretations, and support discovery-driven decision-making across multiple properties.Ideal CandidateYou are a senior exploration geologist who enjoys thinking deeply about geology and is motivated by the challenge of discovery. You are comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets and revisiting historical work with fresh eyes, asking what may have been missed and how legacy interpretations could be improved.You are naturally curious and hypothesis-driven, with the ability to step back, see the bigger geological picture, and generate original exploration ideas across a diverse portfolio of properties. You take ownership of your interpretations and are motivated by the challenge of identifying and advancing targets that others may have overlooked.You are self-directed and ambitious, capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a technical team. You value fieldwork, but you are equally comfortable spending time in the office building models, interrogating data, and refining exploration concepts. Above all,you are driven by the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to new discoveries in a prolific but under-explored district.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a visible safety leader, ensuring all exploration activities comply with company policies, government legislation, and environmental best practices.Perform compilation, validation, and synthesis of historical and modern datasets, including, government geoscience surveys (e.g., Yukon Geological Survey, Geological Survey of Canada), Assessment reports and historical company data, Academic and public-domain studiesCritically evaluate historical exploration results and interpretations to identify missed opportunities and under-explored targets.Plan and supervise exploration activities including geological field mapping, determining the location and layouts of surface geochemical and geophysical surveys, mechanical trenching, geophysical surveys, drilling, and any other exploration techniques deemed suitable for discovery.Ensure QA/QC procedures and sampling protocols are properly implemented and documented across all programsWork closely with contractors, exploration service providers, and technical consultants to ensure programs are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high technical standard.Maintain regular and clear communications, both verbal and written, with Company management.Report writing including internal company reports, assessment reports, weekly project update reports during the field season, and occasionally contributing sections of NI 43-101 technical reports.Build and maintain 3D geological models (Leapfrog Geo) to support interpretation, target generation, and drill planning.Mentoring and support junior geologists and technical staff, contributing to a strong technical and safety culture.Qualifications & ExperienceB.Sc degree in Geology or Earth Sciences, with an M.Sc in Geology or Earth Sciences considered an asset.5-10 years of progressive mineral exploration experience, with a strong preference for YukonStrong understanding of deposit models and the ability to translate these models into effective exploration strategies, including selection, design, and interpretation of appropriate geochemical, geophysical, and drilling programs.High level of competency in planning and supervising all relevant types of exploration, including but not limited to, geological mapping, soil and rock geochemistry surveys, ground and aerial geophysical surveys, mechanical trenching and drilling.Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)Strong background in GIS software (QGIS, ArcMap, ArcPro) to perform data compilation, display and effectively communicate results, and produce high quality maps and figures.Experience with 3D modelling softwares (particularly Leapfrog Geo) to evaluate geological, geochemical, and structural drill results and design drill programs.Work Location and ScheduleThis position combines time working in the field and home office. Normally the field season in Yukon extends from May to October during which the exploration programs are carried out, requiring rotation to and from site.
