We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our dynamic Team at our Casegoods Division in Kitchener. If you are motivated, enjoy challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment we would love to hear from you Reporting to the Human Resources and Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible to provide onsite HR support for approximately 200 employees with an emphasis on Employee Relations, Health and Safety, Investigations, WSIB and Disability Claims Management, Attendance Management and Recruitment. Requirements: Proven track record in Employee Relations, Health & Safety, Investigations, WSIB & Disability Claims. Management, Attendance Management as well as the full Recruitment cycle. Advises Leadership Team on policies/procedures, including performance management. Conducts investigations and makes recommendations on level of discipline as required. Participates in policy development/revisions, training, as well as other projects as required. Keeps abreast of legislative changes for Human Resources in the areas of WSIB, Employment Standards and Human Rights. Responds to staff enquiries concerning benefits and company practices/policies. Performs all responsibilities and duties in accordance with Krug''s Quality Assurance procedures. Ability to be flexible when needed to meet the requirements of a 2- shift plant. Full time onsite attendance is an essential function of this role. Strong communication skills are required with the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality. Demonstrate professionalism, high interpersonal and facilitation skills with all levels. Solid knowledge, understanding, and application of the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, and AODA in Ontario. Flexibility and ability to effectively prioritize based on changing needs. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Qualifications: Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or related discipline is required. 3 - 5 years'' experience in a HR generalist role within a manufacturing environment. Previous H&S experience or JHSC Certification is a definite asset. CHRP or CHRL designation is an asset.
