What you''ll do: Drive production forecasting, reservoir surveillance, and performance analysis for CHO assets. Own new well performance trackingfrom type curve evaluation to early diagnostics and leadership updates. Deliver competitor benchmarking and industry insights to shape well design, development strategy, and pacing. Build and optimize datasets that power forecasting, monitoring, and strategic planning. Create impactful dashboards and visualizations (Power BI or similar) for fast, data-driven decisions. Spot gaps in data and workflowsthen design and implement improvements with minimal oversight. Apply core reservoir engineering principlesmaterial balance, decline analysis, modeling, and pressure-transient interpretationto generate actionable insights. Collaborate across Geoscience, Production, Drilling & Completions, and Operations for integrated decision-making. Provide technical input into strategic initiatives, long-range plans, and business cases. Who you are: Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements: Legally authorized to work in Canada Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) accredited with APEGA/APEGS Minimum of 8 years of reservoir/production engineering experience. Experience in heavy oil or multilateral well performance would be considered an asset. Solid foundation in reservoir engineering, proven through projects that deliver real business impact. Skilled with tools like AccuMap, PVR, SCADA, Power BI, Value Navigator (or similar). Strong data analytics capabilitieswrangling, QC, visualization, and interpretation. Comfortable working with large datasets and building automated workflows; experience with Python, SQL, or similar is considered an asset. Knowledge of machine learning or data science applied to subsurface or production data is an asset. Ability to blend engineering fundamentals with analytics to enhance forecasting and performance diagnostics is considered an asset.
