Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient delivery operations. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, and personnel across designated routes Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies during transportation activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment handling when required Experience Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery preferred Knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques Background in automotive repair or maintenance is a plus Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.17-$34.51 per hour Work Location: In person
