The Meat Wrapper will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement. **Hereu2019s where youu2019ll be focusing:** u2022 Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies and Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives u2022 Provide customer service to meet customer needs u2022 Accurately wraps, packages, prices, labels, and dates all meat and poultry products in a financially responsible manner u2022 Keep work area clean and presentable at all times u2022 Handle, organize, and rotate products in accordance with company standards u2022 Accurately records information in all appropriate logs u2022 Perform program execution and merchandising product, following company presentation standards u2022 Handle and prepare deli products in accordance with company quality standards and food safety protocols u2022 Increase store sales by actively promoting products u2022 Participate in the training of junior staff u2022 Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures u2022 Maintain and prepare meat products for service case, if applicable u2022 Process department shrink u2022 Other duties as required **What you have to offer:** Customer service Service standards Customer offering Full knowledge of department operations and skills Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment Customer Service Interpersonal Skills Job Knowledge Adaptability/Flexibility Dependability Productivity Teamwork Enthused Selling May be required to lift up to 50lbs Two person lift required for weights exceeding 50lbs Ability to stand for long periods of time Physical work including; but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching Exposure to varying temperatures over short periods of time Exposure to sanitation and cleaning chemicals Flexible hours and overtime At Sobeys we require our teammates to have the ability to adhere to a hybrid work model that requires your presence at one of our office locations at least three days per week. The salary range for this position in British Columbia is **$17.85** - **$21.30** .
