Role and Facility InformationThe Peace Arch Hospital Emergency Department is seeking parttime and fulltime Emergency Physicians to join our collegial and wellsupported team.We maintain strong relationships with all specialty and hospitalist groups, creating a positive working environment.The ED has over 55,000 visits annually and is projected to increase to 70,000 by 2030 owing to rapid population growth in the White Rock/South Surrey area. We have 24/7 access to CT, ultrasound and MRI, and excellent local and regional subspecialty support.Remuneration is feeforservice, which is competitive given our high patient flow.Applicants must be certified in Emergency Medicine (CCFPEM or FRCPC) and eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.Peace Arch Hospital (PAH) is a 188bed hospital offering medical, surgical, acute geriatric, obstetrics, palliative, psychiatric, telemetry services, and 24/7 emergency services.Emergency Department Expansion & UpgradesPAH recently completed an expansion that quadrupled the size of the department, added five upgraded perioperative suites, and created a new medical device reprocessing department. The new ED features 55 singlepatient treatment spaces, a child and familyfriendly area, and a dedicated mentalhealth and substanceuse waiting space.
