We are looking for a seasoned machine learning scientist to join our team at SAP Concur to deliver worldclass applied AI solutions to millions of users. We solve realworld challenges faced by SAPs global customers with scalable and robust AIaugmented user experiences. This position is at the forefront of innovation and ambitious AI roadmap of SAP Concur. This is a highimpact individual contributor role for someone who thrives in a fastpaced, datadriven environment, and has a passion for applied AI systems. Tasks Work closely with our Concur Spend AI team and the Spend product team to deliver realworld, high userimpact AIdriven product features in Finance and Spend domain. Explore, implement, experiment, and evaluate the most recent LLMs and agentic frameworks in the AI field for our use cases. Push the frontiers of applied AI with realworld data and application. Work with interdisciplinary teams of developers, designers, and business experts to develop solutions with real measurable customer impact. Help to ensure performance, reliability and ongoing improvement of our model deliverables in continuous collaboration with development teams. Required Skills and Experience Proven handson experience with ML / deep learning frameworks, NLP, LLMs and agents. Strong track record in experimentation and evaluation of ML / AI models, LLMs and agents. Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform, AWS preferred. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Demonstrated ability to drive decisions using a datadriven mindset. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with agentic systems and frameworks. Experience with LLM finetuning, distillation, retrievalaugmented generation (RAG) systems, grounding techniques. Experience with ML model / LLM deployment and productionization. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 92200 - 156800(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
