Training, Quality and Enhancement Sales Lead Gardening DepartmentNorth Vancouver, Canada | Posted on 01/09/2026Were looking for a field-based leader with a sales mindset to help grow our Gardening Department through quality oversight, crew training, and proactive enhancement sales. This role is ideal for someone who understands gardening work, can train and hold employees accountable, and enjoys talking with clients, and can confidently turn onsite observations into approved enhancement jobs.The focus is on client interaction, revenue growth through enhancements, and maintaining high service standards in the field.What Youll DoKickstart crews each morning and support them throughout the dayBe present in the field, supporting crews and maintaining high service quality. Willing to jump into field when needed.Visit sites to ensure work meets quality standards and company expectationsTrain and coach gardening staff on standards, efficiency, and presentationHelp handle inperson onboarding support: new staff orientation, training, tshirts, and documentation (Office staff handle all the paperwork)Check in with crew members and support ongoing skill developmentIdentify and confidently suggest enhancement opportunities (plant replacements, pruning, mulch, cleanups, upgrades, seasonal work) to Operations or SalesComfortably discuss small enhancement jobs with clients when appropriate and flag opportunities for followupConfidently explain scope, benefits, and next steps for enhancement workSecure approval for small enhancement jobs or clearly document and hand off larger opportunities to Sales/OperationsServe as a trusted point of contact for clients during site visitsRespond to and help resolve customer concerns professionally, relationshipfirstCollaborate with Sales and Operations to turn observations into booked workHelp implement LEAN processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and upsell flowSubmit receipts and handle light admin tasks (no crew scheduling required)Act as a bridge between the Operations Manager (office) and the field teamWhat You BringStrong background in gardening, landscaping, or horticultureComfortable selling services through conversation, not pressureConfident discussing pricing, scope, and value with clientsProven ability to spot opportunities and close small jobs on the spotClear, professional communication skills (in person and written)Strong leadership, organization, and followthroughAbility to build trust quickly with clients and crewsSafetyminded, proactive, and takes initiative without being micromanagedHumble, hardworking, and enjoys helping others improvePhysically fit (able to lift up to 60 lbs)Valid drivers licenseBonus: organized, can handle a bit of admin, brings good energy dailyMust live our values: .SalesFocused Success Looks LikeIncreased enhancement revenue from existing gardening clientsFaster conversion of onsite observations into approved workStronger client relationships and higher retentionCrews that understand how quality supports sales opportunitiesPrevious enhancement or servicebased sales experienceClear handoff between field, operations, and sales teamsNice to HaveLandscaping or horticulture certificationFirst Aid / CPRExperience with LMN software.If you enjoy being in the field, talking with clients, spotting opportunities, and turning quality work into revenue, without all the paperwork of an office job, this role offers real ownership and impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
