If youre ready to be part of something amazing, wed love to have you!About the RoleReporting directly to the General Manager and/or the Operations Manager, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for assisting with daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating operations to continuously improve guest services.What Youll DoAssume leadership role in the financial success of the food and beverage operations.Control labour cost to the target set.Direct supervisory staff in the efficient and safe operation of all food and beverage operations.Daily inspection of all Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa food and beverage operations.Take responsibility for all administrative functions in the food and beverage service.Work very closely with the Executive Chef / Executive Sous Chef regarding any planned special events.Take responsibility that all service personnel are trained in wine and liquor service.Ensure all front of the house staff are certified with Serving it Right and Food Safe.Oversee a team of up to 90 staff in 5 different food and beverage outlets.Manage all staffing issues.Address and manage all guest complaints.Propose capital expenditure needs.Responsibilities & QualificationsWhat You Need to HaveCollege or university education in a related field is preferred.Minimum of five plus years food and beverage experience required.Minimum of three plus years of previous management experience required.Must have the ability to work varied shifts.Must be able to read, write, and comprehend a wide variety of reports including capital project requests, critique and review of operations, answer to guest complaints, and other normal business communications.POS experience required particularly with Micros.Requires the ability to work independently, prioritize work, and make decisions regarding correct formatting of work.Only candidates legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered.
