Responsibilities Ensure profitable business growth and effective risk management, while complying with National Bank's policies and risk appetite. Manage and support a small team of underwriting professionals within the BC credit region, ensuring before development and performance. Assess and adjudicate credit applications within assigned limits, based on strong attention to detail, rigorous analysis and in-depth knowledge of risk mitigation strategies. Comply with service agreements and operational processes to support sales objectives while ensuring a solid risk management framework. Maintain close working relationships with internal stakeholders to offer valueadded services and foster the growth of loans and new clients. Your team In the Equipment Finance sector, a subsidiary of the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 group, you are part of a large team of colleagues and you will report to the Senior Manager British Columbia. Prerequisites Postsecondary studies related to business administration or equivalent work experience At least 6 years of experience in financial services, risk management, banking or commercial loans, including direct experience in team management. Proficiency in credit approval, with advanced skills in financial statement analysis and risk mitigation strategies Languages: Required languages: English; French is considered a plus.
