Position Summary Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all fleet operations at the Moorefield location. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of logistics functionsincluding dispatch coordination and customer serviceand possess effective leadership skills to support both driver and production teams. We are seeking an individual who is highly organized, committed to continuous improvement, and dedicated to fostering positive employee relations. Hours of Work Afternoon shift; 4:00 pm to 12:00 pm. Position Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment and ensure full adherence to all company Health & Safety policies. Train, coach, and develop a highperforming team of drivers to meet service expectations; administer corrective action when required. Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support operational efficiency and consistency. Foster an atmosphere of positive employee relationships by constantly talking with drivers, listening to their input and applying it wherever possible. Plan and design efficient daily routes for execution by the driver team. Support prompt and effective resolution of customer service issues and complaints through rootcause analysis and corrective action. Ensure regulatory compliance of the fleet, including adherence to MOT, MOE, and MOL requirements. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure SOPs are clearly understood, consistently followed, and deviations are addressed with timely corrective measures. Periodically visit customer locations and conduct ridealongs to stay informed of working conditions, service delivery, and driver challenges. Maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards. Conduct thorough rootcause investigations for all injuries and incidents, ensuring consistent documentation, discipline, and retraining. Respond and handle client requests and/or issues in a timely manner to ensure client satisfaction. Coordinate with Fleet Maintenance to ensure timely preventive maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles. Manage and direct the activities of team members, equipment, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth daily operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Postsecondary education, preferably in Business, Logistics, or a related discipline. 35 years of experience in Transportation or Logistics, with preference given to candidates with logistics routing experience focused on operational efficiency. 35 years of supervisory experience within a transportation or logistics environment. Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees. Experience managing teams in a unionized work environment. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting to achieve organizational goals. Commercial drivers license (AZ or DZ) considered an asset. Capable of working independently while providing professional guidance and oversight to logistics operators and maintenance personnel. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain routing efficiency.
