Skate Lesson Supervisor Job order - J0126-0400 - Casual CategoryRecreation CityPort Moody, British Columbia, Canada Salary Range$26.50 - $28.50/Hour Closing DateJanuary 27, 2026 Job Description The City of Port Moody is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to fill the casual position of Skate Lesson Supervisor. This position will assist with the implementation of our large skate lesson program and will supervise a team of 50 casual skate instructors. The Skate Lesson Supervisor will plan, direct, supervise and support a large team of skate instructors who teach skate lesson programs from August to mid-June each year. Candidates must be a minimum of 19 years old to apply. This is a casual position requiring varied shifts that include evening, weekend and sometimes daytime shifts. Basic Qualifications Grade 12 and one year of supervisory experience in a recreation environment Experience leading a team in a recreational setting Minimum 2 years of experience teaching skating to children, youth and adults Strong communication and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills Please note that employment with the City of Port Moody is subject to the receipt of a satisfactory police information check.
