About The Role This role supports the Continuing Care and Mental Health Services team by enabling the continuous improvement of technology and business processes that underpin Long Term Care, Home Care, and Mental Health and Addictions services across the province. As an Intermediate/antlr Business Analyst, you will provide critical business support for multiuser, missioncritical systems, ensuring they effectively meet client needs and operational requirements. You will act as a change agent, leading and contributing to business improvement initiatives through strong analytical, problemsolving, and interpersonal skills, while aligning system enhancements with client expectations and government priorities in a complex, resultsdriven environment. What Youll Do Reporting to the Manager, Continuing Care and Mental Health Services, you will: Develop test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing in support of project initiatives and ongoing change and release management. Lead and manage changes to business processes and IT solutions. Gather and document business processes, requirements, and specifications. Prioritize issues and manage your areas workload. Collaborate with health partners to gather reporting business requirements and coordinate the delivery of those report requests with technical resources. Liaise with technology teams, end users, super users, stakeholders, and vendors. Provide support and expertise for.Vertical/for technology solutions and incident management. Assist in leading and participating in projects as needed to ensure that changes are planned for, well communicated, and smoothly transitioned into operations. Lead and participate in multiple working groups to support strategic priorities and continuous improvement of Continuing Care and Mental Health Services. Identify opportunities where business processes can be enhanced through the implementation of technology or by other techniques. Quickly gain an understanding of key business processes and respond to changes within the business environment. What Youll Bring To The Team Postsecondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field. An IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (CCBA) Silver with equivalent combination of experience will also be considered. Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within an integrated support environment. Experience applying business needs analysis and business process improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience working within an integrated IT and/or healthcare support environment. Strong requirements analysis and solution design skills, including the ability to document and translate business needs into effective solutions . Proven ability to monitor business processes, identify gaps, and document and implement process improvements. Excellent documentation skills, including the creation of business cases, project charters, process flow diagrams, business requirements, test plans, and schedules. Demonstrated group facilitation skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and apply practical solutions. Effective written and verbal communication skills to engage customers, stakeholders, and technical teams. Ability to quickly acquire knowledge of information technology architectures, including application and integration platforms. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to meet client and organizational needs. Strong customer service orientation supported by welldeveloped interpersonal skills. Knowledge of software testing methodologies. Indepth understanding of IT Service Management and Change Management concepts. Working knowledge of project management methodologies and processes; formal project management certification is considered an asset. IIBA CBAP certification considered an asset. Problem Solving: Ability to independently interpret, comprehend and apply technical instructions, ability to diagnose technical problems and ability to extract, recall, synthesize, conceptualize, and apply ideas, processes, and information to incorporate new technology and create new solutions in a constantly changing technological and business environment. Interpersonal: Ability to build cooperative working relationships with coworkers, stakeholders and clients to ensure credibility and confidence in services provided as well as to build capacity in clients knowledge and ability to use and apply services. Team/Independence: Ability to work independently, lead and participate as a team member to meet program goals and to build productive, positive work relationships. Organ ikpe: Independently prioritize and organize ones own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in a changing environmentinvolving some project management and ability to function in an environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities. Analytical: Ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on data processes and methodologies, information technology and potential systems design to make feasible recommendations. Technical: Ability to design new or adapt existing systems/applications taking into account design alternatives, business requirements, and cost, resore and time constraints. This position is currently funded for 6 months with the possibility of a oneyear extension subject to funding availability. Please note all term work will not exceed 2years. For roles requiring Regina office space, temporary remote work may be required during our office move. On site work will resume once the new Regina office is ready.
