Nirvair & Litt Farm Ltd. Located at 39330/39452 S Parallel Rd, Abbotsford, BC V3G 2T4 and 41575 No 4 Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2R 0M7, is looking for 1 Farm Supervisor. This is a year-round position. Duties Check and monitor for pests such as worms, caterpillars, snails, etc. Coordinate and supervise the farm operation. Train farm workers to perform specific tasks Prepare reports and weigh the fruit to be sold Check irrigation lines, schedule tasks to be performed depending on the season. Identify poorly drained areas Ability to take the necessary steps to improve the efficiency of the farm operation. May perform the same duties as workers supervised. Skills required Minimum 1-year experience as a farm supervisor or training in agriculture is required Ability to communicate in English. Ability to work: Long hours, early mornings, and weekends if required. Outdoors in ALL weather conditions. Heavy lifting required. Salary offered: $19.00/hr. for 40 hours/week. #J-18808-Ljbffr
