This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives on leadership, collaboration, and delivering exceptional results.**What Your Impact Is*** Lead archaeological field programs under Heritage Inspection, Heritage Investigation, and Site Alteration Permits.* Oversee research, artifact analysis, and reporting for cultural heritage assessments.* Act as a trusted advisor to clients and regulatory agencies, representing ERM with professionalism and expertise.* Drive business development initiatives to expand ERMs archaeology and cultural heritage services across Western Canada.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs and regulatory standards.**What Youll Bring****Required:*** Bachelors degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field.* 4+ years of professional experience in archaeology and cultural heritage.* Current permit holder in British Columbia. Field Directors will also be considered.* Proven ability to lead field programs and complete research projects.* Strong communication, writing, and computer skills.* Travel will be required.* Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.* **This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.****Preferred:*** Masters degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field.* Permit holding in other provinces/territories.* Demonstrated business development experience.* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.**Key Responsibilities*** Lead and manage archaeological field programs under applicable permits.* Conduct literature reviews, artifact analysis, and cataloguing.* Prepare high-quality reports and deliverables for clients.* Communicate effectively with clients, agencies, and internal teams.* Represent ERM at meetings with provincial, territorial, and federal agencies.* Support growth of ERMs archaeology and cultural heritage practice through technical excellence and client engagement.For the **Managing Technical Consultant,** **Archaeologist** position, the anticipated annual base pay is **$88,707$96,381 (CAD)**. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
