Were looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our rapidly growing Sales team in Sydney. This role is for someone with a positive attitude, growth mindset and a sense of ownership to take projects from ideation to completion. You will be able to support a full sales cycle, beginning at technical scoping and solution architecture in presales all the way through proper handoff to the Customer Success teams. What your team does Our Solution Engineering team is the Swiss Army knife of the sales organisation. With deep technical expertise and strong commercial instincts, they act as the technical authority across product, platform, integrations, and the competitive landscapetranslating complex capabilities into clear, businessdriven value for customers. What youll work on Provide seniorlevel business and technical sales support for APAC customers across the full deal lifecycle Own technical deal strategy, acting as the senior technical lead on complex and highimpact opportunities Partner closely with Sales to uncover customer goals, needs, and pain pointsand clearly articulate how Clio solves them Perform the technical sell by proving feasibility, demonstrating value, and connecting solutions to measurable business outcomes Confidently present to highly technical and developer audiences, validating Clios architecture, integrations, scalability, and security Design, build, and maintain Clio demo environments, tools, and sales enablement resources Enable Sales to deliver targeted, personabased, valuedriven demos and presentations Provide ProofofConcept (POC) environments and advise on workflow, implementation, and integration approaches Deliver technical responses to RFPs and RFIs and manage a high volume of concurrent opportunities Support pre and postsales technical challenges, particularly around change management, integrations, scalability, and process design Collaborate with Sales Executives on upsell and expansion strategies using customer and technical insights Deliver case recaps and performance summaries to Sales leadership Own and contribute to internal tool development critical to Sales Engineering success Stay current on industry trends, competitor solutions, partner ecosystems, and emerging technologies Partner closely with Customer Success to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience longterm Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency, ARPA, and the technical sales process What you may have 4+ years experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar role within a SaaS environment Strong technical foundation across cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, data migrations, and security infrastructure Comfortable delivering technical demos, presentations, and handling objections with credibility and confidence Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust across Sales, Product, and customers A creative, curious problemsolver with a track record of navigating ambiguity and complexity Motivated by learning, growth, and helping teams achieve ambitious revenue goals Baseline knowledge of the legal domain or court systems (serious bonus) Actively use AI to improve your craft, productivity, or problemsolving approach (serious bonus) Serious bonus points if you: Bring baseline knowledge of the legal domain or court systems Actively use AI to improve your craft, productivity, or problemsolving approach What you will find here Competitive, equitable salary (exclusive of superannuation) with toptier health benefits Hybrid work environment, with expectation for local Clions (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, and Sydney) to be in office at least twice per week Flexible time off policy, with an encouraged 20 days off per year Clioversary recognition program with special acknowledgement at 3, 5, 7, and 10 years The expected salary range for this role is $126,200 to $148,500 to $170,800 AUD. The expected new hire commission range for this role is $42,100 to $49,500 to $56,900 AUD. Commission earnings are uncapped.
