X-Ray Technologist (Emergency Scanner) BC We are seeking skilled X-Ray Technologists to join emergency scanner teams across multiple hospitals in British Columbia. Title: X-Ray Technologist Emergency Scanner Location: Lions Gate Hospital, Sechelt Hospital, Oliver, Cranbrook, Trail, Kelowna, Kamloops, Vanderhoof, Fort St John, Dawson Creek (British Columbia) Contract Length: 416 weeks Shifts: Days, evenings, and nights (rotating) Compensation: $45 $47 per hour (T4) $52 $56 per hour (Incorporated) Travel & Housing: Accommodations and transportation provided Orientation: 14 days of training provided Responsibilities Perform X-Ray examinations in emergency and acute care settings. Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital protocols. Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to safety. Qualifications Current CAMRT Certification (mandatory). Minimum of 2 years of recent X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital environment. Prior hospital contract experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable in high-volume emergency settings. Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
