Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedUnderground Mine Supervisorto lead and manage underground crews in a safe, productive, and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising UG crews, coordinating daily work activities, and ensuring compliance with all safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.Rotation:14 days on / 14 days offDepartment:Underground OperationsReports To:Mine Superintendent / Operations ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate underground crews of approximately6 personnelProvide day-to-day leadership, direction, and mentoring to UG employeesEnsure all work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsConduct pre-shift meetings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and safety inspectionsMonitor productivity, work quality, and adherence to mine plans and schedulesIdentify and address safety concerns, operational issues, and personnel mattersComplete required documentation, reports, and shift handoversWork closely with mine management, maintenance, and technical teams to meet production targetsQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 10 years of underground mining experience35 years of experience in a supervisory rolein an underground mining environmentOntario Underground Supervisor Common Core(mandatory)WSCC Level 2 certificationpreferredStrong knowledge of underground mining practices, safety systems, and regulationsProven leadership, communication, and team management skillsAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in a dynamic environmentWork Schedule14/14 rotation(day and/or night shifts as required)At Aplin together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
