This opportunity is well suited for a Red Seal Electrician who enjoys mentoring teams, solving on-site challenges, and taking ownership of project outcomes within a supportive, forward-thinking organization.PERKS:Competitive compensation with structured wage increases and overtime pay.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, prescriptions, disability, and life insurance, plus a Health Spending Account.Retirement and financial support through RRSP matching and performance-based bonuses.Professional development with paid training, safety certifications, leadership programs, and tuition reimbursement.Work tools and allowances including company truck or vehicle/gas allowance, cell phone allowance, laptop, tool and clothing allowance, branded uniforms, and PPE.Work-life and team culture featuring paid time off, relocation assistance, mileage reimbursement, on-site parking, store discounts, and regular team events.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:Leading and coordinating on-site electrical crews to maintain high standards of productivity, safety, and workmanship.Collaborating closely with Project Managers to support on-time, on-budget project delivery.Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate field execution.Organizing work plans and site layouts while coordinating material requirements and procurement.Ensuring compliance with the BC Electrical Code and project-specific safety requirements.Monitoring project progress, labor hours, and material usage through field reporting tools.Providing hands-on training, guidance, and mentorship to apprentices and journeypersons.Acting as a professional site representative when working with clients, consultants, inspectors, and general contractors.Identifying and resolving on-site challenges proactively while communicating solutions clearly to all stakeholders.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Red Seal Electrician certification.Minimum 1 year of experience working as a Foreman or Lead Hand on commercial and/or institutional projects.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical drawings.Proven proficiency in electrical layout, conduit installation, power distribution, and coordination with other trades.Comfortable using digital construction and field management tools such as Procore, Fieldwire, and PlanGrid.Valid Class 5 drivers license with reliable transportation.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of organization and sound decision-making ability.Solid supervisory experience overseeing teams on construction projects.Working knowledge of quality control standards and project budgeting practices.Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
