Job Description South Shore Regional Hospital (SSRH) is seeking a 12-month short term appointment, Plastic surgeon, with potential for a permanent position, FTE to be determined.Join Nova Scotia''s thriving healthcare ecosystem, where your expertise is valued and your contributions drive innovative, compassionate care for generations to come. Responsibilities General plastic surgery including: Elective hand procedures Skin cancer management Emergency department referrals, including facial and hand trauma, and minor burns Fully supported regular main OR and ambulatory clinic time is available in addition to an office with administrative support Overhead and administrative expenses are shared with two other plastic surgeons Affiliation with Dalhousie University with option to participate in research and surgical education Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
