Job Overview This Client is 7days/week in Ashburn On. Saturday, Sunday 8-8pm Monday-Friday 8am-12pm and 5pm-9pm, this is an 8hr split shift We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team, providing essential support to individuals in various care settings. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort, and promoting overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care, and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in need. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide compassionate patient care tailored to individual needs Administer medications and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals Support meal preparation and feeding for residents or clients Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning duties Assist with mobility and transfer of patients using proper techniques and heavy lifting when necessary Support patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care approaches Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care Document patient observations and report any changes in condition promptly Experience Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care is preferred Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or hospice care is highly desirable Knowledge of caregiving best practices including medication administration and safety protocols Familiarity with caregiving tasks such as meal preparation and light cleaning is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and effectively while maintaining patient dignity and safety Previous experience in healthcare settings that involve working closely with patients requiring specialized attention is a plus This role requires a caring attitude, patience, physical stamina, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
