Roechling Industrial is an industrial plastics manufacturer located in Orangeville, ON. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Guillotine Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining guillotine cutting machines, ensuring precise and efficient processing of materials. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various machining and HMI programming tools. The Guillotine Operator will play a critical part in maintaining quality standards and supporting production workflows in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate guillotine cutting machines with precision, adhering to safety protocols and production schedules Operate screening/print machines with precision, preparing screens, mixing inks Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Set up, operate, tear down, change over equipment and machinery Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify dimensions and tolerances Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and processes Assist in material handling using forklifts when necessary Support assembly and packaging operations to meet production deadlines Experience Proven experience operating machinery Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and blueprint reading for tasks Hands-on experience with mechanical tools, calipers, hand tools, and basic math skills for precise measurements Previous forklift operation is preferred Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, quality control procedures, and assembly techniques Strong focus to detail and accuracy Mechanical aptitude Ability to identify and solve errors High School / GED / or equivalent experience This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing setting where technical skills are valued.
