Your responsibilities will include managing multiple projects simultaneously, such as preparing Compilation and Review financial statements, completing Corporate and Personal Income Tax returns, and providing clients with insightful, professional advice. What You''ll do: Year End Financial Statement Preparation Prepare 70 to 100 Compilation and Review engagements annually that meet the applicable financial reporting standards (CSRS 4200 and ASPE/ASNPO) Focus on metrics that reinforce small business profitability and stability, like Quick/Current ratio, Leverage and Debt-To-Equity, Gross Profit Margin and Gross Profit Percentage, Management compensation, and Net Profit/Net Income Meet with clients to review and discuss your finished work, and provide the value of professional advice and guidance on business improvement and profitable business growth Corporate and Personal Income Taxes Prepare 70 to 100 T2 Corporate Income Tax Returns with a focus on tax planning opportunities for owner/managers of small business corporations Develop client-specific income tax and owner compensation plans to maximize tax efficiency and minimize tax leakage Complete 100 to 200 T1 Personal Income Tax and Benefit Returns annually with a high degree of accuracy and that reflect the best in current personal income tax planning Research and Miscellaneous Projects When encountering a problem: do the necessary research, confirm with colleagues the correctness of your findings, and communicate clearly the solutions to our clients Assist in nurturing relationships: respond to emails and phone calls quickly, and constantly be thinking of ways to personalize and improve our clients'' experience Perform all duties as assigned What You Need: Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA) 4+ years in a Senior Accountant position Hands-on experience in a public accounting firm environment A proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities or projects in a fast-paced environment Who You Are: Clear and professional communicator, able to convey complex information with clarity and confidence Skilled at giving and receiving constructive feedback to foster collaboration and continuous improvement Highly organized and self-driven, capable of delivering results without the need for micromanagement Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work Brings strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to complex financial challenges Committed to excellence and maintaining the highest standards of quality in every engagement Business-savvy and profit-minded, consistently focused on creating measurable value for clients Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize effectively Willing to go above and beyond when the situation calls for it, ensuring client success and satisfaction Our Values: Profit Minded - We do work that is profitable and allows our firm to grow Quality Focused - We review each other''s projects and make sure we get it right Value Driven - We give great advice to clients which makes us valued partners We believe everyone deserves the chance to thrivepersonally and professionally.
