Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, full-time Senior Optician to lead by example on the optical floor. This role is ideal for a confident, detail-oriented optician who excels in patient education, advanced dispensing, and team mentorship. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional eyewear experiences while supporting the growth and standards of our optical department. Key Responsibilities Provide expert eyewear consultations, frame styling, and lens recommendations Interpret prescriptions and ensure accurate measurements and fittings Manage complex prescriptions and specialty lens solutions Oversee quality control for eyewear orders and adjustments Mentor and support junior opticians and optical staff Maintain high standards of presentation within the eyewear gallery Build long-term patient relationships through trust, education, and service Collaborate with doctors and team members to ensure seamless patient care Qualifications & Experience Licensed Optician (or equivalent certification, as required) Minimum 5+ years of optical dispensing experience Strong knowledge of premium eyewear brands and advanced lens technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Leadership experience or interest in mentoring and training others Close attention to detail and commitment to quality Passion for patient care and personalized service Must be available to work evenings and weekends What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive, team-oriented work environment Access to premium eyewear collections and advanced technology Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development Staff perks and eyewear benefits Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week, needs to be available to work evenings and weekend (Saturday only)
