We currently have an opening for a part time Banquet Bartender. The successful candidate will prepare and serve beverages and ensure all guests receive the best possible service resulting from the high standards set by management of the hotel. Must be able to ensure all work areas and guest tables are clean and restocked. Teamwork with other service personnel, a positive attitude towards guests and professional pride in working in the hospitality industry are the ingredients of quality service. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet and welcome all guests with promptness and courtesy. Prepare and serve beverages. Address guest concerns in a friendly, courteous and prompt manner as per hotel policy. Maintain a neat appearance at all times. Perform opening and closing bartender duties. Maintain a clean work area at all times; cleaning shelves, walls, counter tops, fridges and freezers. Put away stock orders in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensure that stock is rotated for freshness and customer satisfaction. Be aware of all hotel functions and read the weekly function sheets in order to direct guest inquiries. Read and adhere to all memos posted regarding your area. Be prepared to assist Room Service during breaks. Be thoroughly familiar with: Menu items Ingredients Preparation Presentation Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Education/ Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role or in a hospitality environment. Proficient in both verbal and written communications. Completion of high school diploma or related vocational training. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Certification and/or License Requirement: Serve it Right Certification required. Skills: Excellent communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
