About the Role Please carefully read the application instructions at the end of the job post. This senior consultant role is ideal for a nursing professional who brings strong clinical experience and a real understanding of how care works in remote and Northern settings. You know the realities of delivering care in small communities, and you are ready to use that experience to help shape how health systems across the North can work better for the people they serve. As a Senior Nursing Consultant, you''ll use your nursing knowledge, skills, and experience to support territorial governments, Indigenous and Inuit organizations, and community partners to identify what is working, where the challenges are, and what practical changes can make a real difference. Your work will include guiding analysis, contributing to policy and program design, and helping plan services that are realistic, effective, and grounded in lived experience. You won''t be working alone - you will be part of a team and collaborate with colleagues who bring strengths in clinical practice, analytics, project management, and evaluation. Together, we build thoughtful, practical solutions that reflect Northern realities and strengthen care delivery across communities. This is an opportunity to bring your nursing background into a broader, system-wide space where your experience truly matters and can help shape positive change across the North.
