Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with a focus on food preparation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic culinary setting. Duties Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment Help with food handling and storage to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Support the serving staff during busy periods by preparing ingredients or assisting with plating Ensure all kitchen tools and utensils are properly stored and maintained Assist in setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold hygiene standards Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety protocols Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively A genuine interest in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality services This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting the culinary team.
