Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/ Benchman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and communication, ensuring that all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. For a benchman, we are requiring skills in using tools for assembling cabinets at a workbench. Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Engage in heavy lifting and moving of products as required during deliveries. Requirements Valid full driver''s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving preferred; familiarity with delivery routes is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Previous experience in warehouse operations or moving is desirable. Ability to operate a forklift is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Must be able to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
