As a Corporate Development Advisor, you will be instrumental in managing the strategic planning process, identifying high-impact market opportunities, and executing the transformational initiatives that advance our corporate objectives. Key Responsibilities You will be a core contributor across the strategic lifecycle, including: Strategic Execution: Support the development and execution of critical strategic initiatives across business units and core functions (e.g., Manufacturing, Supply Chain, IT, HR). Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing, rigorous assessments of the industry and competitive landscape to identify key trends and threats impacting Celestica''s operations. Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop complex financial models to simulate portfolio-level scenarios and evaluate strategic options. Problem Solving: Synthesize complex business issues, formulate testable hypotheses, and define the necessary data and analysis required to validate recommendations. Cross-Functional Partnership: Build strong, collaborative partnerships with segment and functional leaders to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and capability. Executive Support: Support special initiatives driven by the ELT and assist the Corporate Development team during critical deal phases, including operational due diligence. Communication: Support the development of high-stakes, executive-level communications for all levels of the company, including the Board of Directors. Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate possesses a mix of analytical rigor, executive presence, and a proven track record of driving tangible results. Experience: Minimum five (5) years of related work experience. Top-tier management consulting or investment banking experience is highly preferred. Education: Bachelor''s degree in an analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Finance). MBA is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Minimum 2 years of experience covering Industrial and Electronics Manufacturing vertical with expertise in one of the Celestica key end markets (Energy, Capital Equipment, MedTech, Industrials, Aerospace & Defense). Impact & Influence: Highly skilled at influencing and communicating effectively with a diverse range of functions and executive-level audiences. Results Orientation: A relentless focus on translating strategy into execution and driving measurable, tangible impact to the corporation.
