Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator Coordinator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting project estimation processes, coordinating bid preparations, and ensuring accurate pricing for various construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver precise estimates that align with project goals and budgets. The Estimator Coordinator will utilize industry-standard tools and possess strong negotiation and project management skills to contribute to the successful execution of projects. Duties Assist in preparing detailed construction estimates using software such as Bluebeam. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing information and ensure competitive bids. Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop accurate cost projections. Support the negotiation process with vendors and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing and terms. Manage bid schedules, deadlines, and documentation to ensure timely submission of proposals. Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and related documentation for future reference. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure estimates align with project budgets and objectives. Participate in project meetings to provide estimation insights and updates as needed. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field within the construction industry is desirable. Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for document review and markup. Strong knowledge of construction estimating software. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing. Demonstrated project coordination capabilities, including scheduling and coordination of multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies is highly desirable. Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
