Responsibilities What Youll Do: Coordinate equipment movement, including arranging towing. Perform inspections and assessments alongside our mechanic. Schedule and dispatch grader for road maintenance. Oversee regular maintenance of forestry equipment and trucks. Qualifications What You Bring: Education and Experience: Minimum high school diploma Technical training in automotive/heavy equipment mechanics is preferred Experience working with or around mechanized forestry equipment is considered an asset Mechanical aptitude is required Class5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract is required Ability to work day and night shifts with some oncall availability is required Ability to work some weekends is required Willingness to travel throughout the day to multiple job sites is required Familiarity with road construction activities Experience operating a log truck or Class1 License is considered an asset Background or exposure to forestry or transportation About Us Founded in 1882, J.D.
