The Role We are seeking an experienced Structural Superintendent to lead the construction of structural steel and cladding for a crusher facility, including structural steel installation within the processing building. The role is campbased on a rotation schedule (e.g., 14 on/14 off, 18 on/10 off) with a travel allowance provided, and involves working 12hour days. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience Weekly pay Company bonus (based on overall performance) Health, dental, vision, and travel benefits (50/50 split) Longterm disability, AD&D, life and dependent life insurance Paid vacation Cell phone allowance or companyprovided cell phone A companyprovided laptop DSPs hourly wage only (no overtime, benefits, vacation, or statutory holiday pay) Job Duties / Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all activities related to erecting structural steel and installing cladding Oversee structural steel installation inside the processing building Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations Lead and mentor site crews, subcontractors, and trades Manage schedules, resources, and workflow to maintain project timelines Conduct daily inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings Liaise with project management, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues proactively Skills, Education, & Qualifications Minimum 710 years of experience in structural steel construction, including stickbuilt steel and cladding Previous experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman on industrial construction projects Journeyperson certification in a related structural trade is preferred (Ironworker, Metal Fitter / Fabricator, Welder, or similar) Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, welding, bolting, and cladding installation Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills Experience working in industrial environments such as processing facilities, mining, or aggregate operations is an asset Must be able to work in a campbased environment Valid WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, etc. safety tickets Pass a preemployment drug and alcohol test Legally eligible to work in Canada OCL Group Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
