Join to apply for the Configuration & Data Specialist II role at Seaspan ULC Location: 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver (fully onsite) Job Description The Configuration & Data Specialist II maintains documents and data accuracy within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool. The role involves sourcing data from diverse stakeholders and recording and configuring it in the system. What Youll Do Maintains data accuracy and integrity within PLM toolsets identifying potential risks, process inconsistencies and quality issues. Creates new documentation, manages document metadata and progression of documents via document lifecycle management. Manages the receipt, review/approval and configuration of technical data from vendors through the supply chain department. Communicates with Engineers, Vendors, Supply Chain, Production departments and other crossfunctional departments via email and meetings to resolve issues and provide guidance as required. Manages customer deliverable correspondence and coordinates associated review/approval workflow process. Processes transmittals of project documentation to and from customers/suppliers and maintains approval status. Supports training for external and internal users on PLM tools. Addresses system user questions related to PLM toolsets. Performs additional duties as required. What Youll Bring Diploma or Certification in a relevant discipline. Minimum 4 years of experience (Manufacturing industry preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with large data sets (Aras preferred). Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management tools (Aras preferred). Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to process detailed information consistently. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Interpersonal skills including problem solving. Customer service and organizational skills. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada reliability screening or security clearance. Ability to be registered with the Controlled Goods Directorate for access to Regulatory Controlled Technology. Benefits & Compensation This is a fulltime, permanent position.
