At Klue, Were Building the Future of Competitive Intelligence Your role as our Financial Analyst The Financial Analyst plays a key role in keeping our Finance Department, and thus Klue, running smoothly. Our goal is to translate complex financial data into a clear story, providing the timely insights that guide our longterm strategy and optimize daytoday performance. Youll work closely with the Controller and Senior Accountant to support the daytoday operations that keep our team effective, from owning the accounts payable function to forecasting operating expenses. Youll also get handson exposure to the projects and programs that shape our multiproduct future. This is a role for someone whos eager to learn, proactive, and willing to jump out of your lane. To start, youll balance execution with learning, building a solid foundation in the expense side of the finance function. From there you will move into the revenue and SaaS metrics side. If you excel in this role, theres room to grow, potentially into a FP&A Manager role. What Youll Do Accounts Payable: Own the starttofinish process for all nonpayroll spend. Tracking expenditures, managing AP inboxes, processing credit card transactions, and running our employee spend platform, Float. Youll keep approvals organized and payments moving efficiently across Float Cards, Bill Pay, Reimbursements, and bank transfers. Expense Forecasting: Keep our operating expense forecasts accurate and aligned with reality. Maintain financial models within Drivetrain, ensure prepaid expenses are reflected correctly, and partner with crossfunctional teams to forecast new initiatives. Youll build models that tie spend to usagebased revenue, helping us manage burn with precision. MonthEnd Excellence: Drive smooth monthend closes by ensuring all expense transactions are reconciled, exported, and supported on time. Manage adjusting entries and working papers for prepaids, PPE amortization, and accruals, then dig into variance analysis to flag insights and refine forecasts. FP&A & Reporting: Be a key player in turning numbers into insight. Compile quarterly metrics for board reporting, support SaaS KPI tracking (like CAC and Sales Efficiency), and provide financial commentary to help leadership make informed decisions. Jump into adhoc analysis to uncover trends and competitive insights. What Success Looks Like Youll know youre crushing it when Finance is running smoothly, forecasts are accurate, and your insights directly influence business decisions. Monthend close is completed within 7 business days, with your expense areas never a bottleneck. Your expense forecasts land within 5% variance of actuals after six months. Youve built trusted relationships across teams and everyone knows you, and youre seen as a goto partner. Youre able to cover for teammates when needed, showing strong crossfunctional knowledge. Youve made measurable improvements to processesmaybe even built a few from scratch. What You Bring MustHaves: 2+ years of business experience with an accounting or analytics background. Strong financial modeling skills and a solid foundation in business fundamentals, ideally within SaaS. An AIforward mindset. You experiment with new tools to drive efficiency and insight. Openness and integrity. You communicate mistakes early so the team can learn and adapt quickly. Comfort with contextswitching between strategy and execution. A genuine curiosity about SaaS metrics, finance, and how numbers tell the story of the business. Familiarity with financial planning tools (Drivetrain, Datarails). Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, Campfire). CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot).
