To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our Lake Country Co-op brand to life, visit us at to Facilities Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approachConduct the ongoing inspections, maintenance, and repairs of the structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing including manual and automatic car wash baysMaintain compliance with Asset Protection and Health and Safety Standards completing assigned work in a safe manner at all times, while wearing all appropriate PPE, obeying rules of the road, and following all appropriate safety policies and proceduresDetermine best practices for implementing ongoing preventative measures and addressing the reactive and emergent requirements to prolong life of existing and new equipmentRespond to building deficiencies in a timely and professional mannerUse data base and communication tools to track assigned work, record notes, and close casesLive our brand Youre at Home Here by presenting a positive, collaborative, and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, membersAll other duties as assignedEmbody our values of Honesty, Innovation, Responsibility, and RespectWhy It MattersOur Lake Country Co-op team provides a range of products and services to support our 54,680 member-owners in 20 different communities. Through the work that we do and annual sales of $700 million we help to build, fuel, feed and grow our communities together.Who You AreYou are looking for a career in facilities maintenance andYou have 1-3 years of facility repair and maintenance experienceYou have experience and/or knowledge in plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and overall general maintenance skillsYou are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervisionYou are honest, trustworthy, are results oriented, and are proud of the work that you doYou must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentYou must have strong attention to detail and are able to remain calm under pressureYou have the flexibility to respond to issues outside of regular working hours as requiredPhysical labour is required; including standing, driving, walking, climbing and kneeling; must be able to work in, on, around, over and under fixed equipment and to work from lifts and ladders; lifting and carrying weighted material (up to 50lbs)Work is both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsMust have a valid Class 5 license travel is required through out the La Ronge and Air Ronge trading areaSafety equipment is provided and is required at all times; safety boots are requiredOur Lake Country Co-op team members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
