As our growth creates new career opportunities, likely there is the right one for you!MissionTerus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a Mine Manager to join our team in Prince Rupert, BC.We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Mine Manager to oversee all aspects of mining operations, including production, safety, environmental compliance, and team leadership. The successful candidate will ensure that mining activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in alignment with company and regulatory standards.Main ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all mine operations to achieve production and safety targets.Aid in developing and implementing short and longterm mine plans.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Manage budgets, costs, and operational performance indicators.Oversee and coordinate pit development.Supervise and mentor mine supervisors, engineers, and technical staff.Coordinate with maintenance, geology, processing, and engineering teams to optimize output.Oversee equipment utilization and maintenance schedules.Prepare operational and financial reports for senior management.Foster a positive safety culture and continuous improvement mindset. Commitment to safety and operational excellence.Qualifications and ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years in a management or supervisory role.Strong understanding of mine planning software is an asset. Strong skills of interpreting plans and maps required.Demonstrated competency in managing complex operations in a mining or aggregate environment.Proven leadership, decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of local mining regulations and environmental legislation.Mine Engineering education not required but is an asset.Working ConditionsSitebased position with rotational or residential schedule (as applicable).Exposure to outdoor and industrial environments.Extended hours may be required to meet operational targets.Compensation DataThe anticipated salary range for this position is $115,000 to $140,000 CAD annually.
