They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets. By providing technical support and management resources the Associate ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place.Responsibilities & QualificationsLeads a team ensuring members receive adequate training, support and development opportunitiesAccountable for ensuring appropriate utilization, workload planning and forecastingImplements programs to improve the quality of service, products, and systems to meet client's requirements, minimize costs, and maximize the firms competitive positionPromote quality issues with all team members and ensure that the quality control function is effectively performed and embedded as a standard in the teamAssure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence of contract documentsAct as the firm representative and maintain good relationships with clients, project stakeholders, associations, government bodies and other entitiesIs an active role model for team and office culture and promotes an inclusive workplaceBuilds and manages their own key clients and monitors key pursuits/opportunitiesContributes to GO/NO-GO decisions with the mindset of growing the businessMonitors and assists with keeping team performance at or above the annual planIs a discipline lead on projects with minimal peer/technical support requiredQualifications And Experience6+ years design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Control systemsExperience leading and designing aviation projects highly preferredHas led a teamUniversity degree, college/technology diploma in Mechanical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PEng) designation requiredLEED Accredited professional designation or other relevant rating or performance system is desiredAdditional InformationIntroba is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $90,000 - $135,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
