OverviewAtkinsRalis is hiring a Traffic Control Supervisor to join our Surrey Langley Skytrain project team. The supervisor will report to the Traffic Manager and will implement and maintain traffic control plans, monitor traffic operations in construction zones, and supervise all Traffic Control Persons on the Traffic Site.ResponsibilitiesImplement and maintain traffic control plans.Observe and monitor traffic operations in construction zones.Supervise and manage all Traffic Control Persons on the Traffic Site.Be available on site during active construction or within 60 minutes when not active.Record and provide daily traffic control reports to the Province's Representative by 10:00 AM for the previous day, and complete incident reports within 24 hours of each incident.Respond to inquiries and liaise with the Province's Representative as required.Dispatch traffic control staff and procure traffic equipment for daily work activities.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as a Traffic Supervisor in general traffic control procedures, standards, and processes in Metro Vancouver, plus specific experience in traffic management plan implementation on large or similar projects.Sound knowledge of the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Valid driving license in BC.Exceptional timemanagement skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work variable shift schedules, including nights and weekends.Solid organizational skills, multitasking, and staff management.Knowledge of the BC MoTT Traffic Management Manual and latest WorkSafeBC standards related to traffic management.BenefitsEnjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.
