OverviewIRATA Rope Access Trades (Projects & Outages) position at MISTRAS Group. The tradesmen will utilize Journeyman training in Insulation, Electrical, Welding, and Steam/Pipe-Fitting to meet turnaround repair objectives.ResponsibilitiesPerform trade work related to Insulation, Electrical, Welding, or Steam/Pipe-Fitting as trained.Perform your designated craft with a high degree of skill and accuracy.Possess necessary mechanical and technical knowledge related to your craft.Carry out work as directed by site leadership to accomplish turnaround objectives for site repairs.Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and dexterity.Read and understand complex instructions related to your trade.Work in hot/cold environments and in dusty/dry/wet conditions.Lift up to 25 kg.Technical RequirementsPossess a Canadian Journeyman Certificate in Insulation, Electrical, Welding, or Steam/Pipe-fitting.Possess an IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 (or be willing to undergo a company-sponsored IRATA Level 1 course).Qualifying hours for insulation will be considered.CWB all-position welding qualification for Welders is required.Other welding qualification cards are a strong asset.Other trade-based qualifications are an asset.Why Work at MISTRAS Services?MISTRAS Services Inc. strives to provide a positive work environment that values safety and quality, free from discrimination and harassment.
