Registered Clinical Counsellor, Lifemark Health Group, Provincial Mental Health Programs & Services Permanent Part Time @ 25 hours/week Hybrid, including presence required at Lifemark Physiotherapy Keefer Place in Vancouver, BC (181 Keefer Place, Vancouver, BC, V6B 6C1)Compensation: Hourly rate $42-50/hr Fee-for-Service options available About the Position Are you a passionate Registered Clinical Counsellor dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Canadians? In this role you will share your time between remote work and onsite presence at Lifemark Physiotherapy Keefer Place, a 16,000 sqft facility that has been providing excellent physiotherapy and rehabilitation care to the Vancouver community since 1979. The clinic houses an outpatient clinic with a wide array of holistic services and is located in downtown Vancouver, one block from Rogers Arena and across the street from International Village and Tinseltown Theatre. Our professional staff of over 50 clinicians includes physicians, a psychiatrist, psychologists, registered massage therapists (RMTs), clinical counsellors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, acupuncturists, pharmacological consultants, a pharmacist, neuropsychologists, a psychometrist, kinesiologists, vestibular therapists and a speechlanguage pathologist. Many of the comprehensive programs we provide are funded by government sources such as PCVRS (VAC), Workers Compensation Boards, Public Health Regions and private insurers. Responsibilities Provide clients with assessment, consultation and psychoeducational services Develop personalized, evidenceinformed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patientcentric care and achieve optimal outcomes Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned) Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development Utilize modern tools, including echarting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention and selfmanagement strategies Qualifications and Skills Masters Degree in Counselling / Clinical Psychology Minimum of 1 year of experience in a returntowork or physical rehabilitation setting Previous experience providing treatment to individuals who have experienced a head injury Professional registration as a full RCC with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) (RCC for 1 yr or more) Ability to use creative and structured approaches to assist clients to selfmanage Ability to write clear and comprehensive reports and other correspondence Ability to communicate using different styles and methods to suit individual clients and situations Experience with chronic pain and postconcussive symptoms is highly valued Working at Lifemark High earning potential with support to build a caseload based on your clinical interests $1,500 annual learning and development allowance (based on employment status) Team culture that values collaboration, learning and shared success Centralized support so you can focus on care, not administration Robust onboarding program Ongoing mentorship to support clinical skills development Job mobility, with relocation options across a national network Benefits Flexible health benefits medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family Paid wellness and vacation days Employee Share Ownership Program (Shoppers Drug Mart) a 25% company match of up to 5% of your base salary 30% employee discount at Shoppers Drug Mart Corporate discount at GoodLife Fitness, Workperks, and employee assistance program Unlimited referral rewards up to $5,000 per successful hire Recruitment Process Connect with Our Talent Acquisition Specialist: Your journey begins with a personalized phone conversation.
