The team is committed to fun, safe, and effective care, strong caregiver collaboration, and helping clients build meaningful skills that matter in their everyday lives.Mission of this RoleAs a Speech-Language Pathologist at Progressive Steps Training & Consultation Inc., your mission is to provide high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming speech and language services to children, adolescents, and adults with Autism and other developmental or communication needs. You will assess communication strengths and needs, implement evidence-based interventions, support caregivers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and enhance each individuals ability to communicate meaningfully in their daily environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small group speech-language therapy (expressive/receptive language, articulation/phonology, AAC, fluency, social communication, early language, functional communication).Conduct standardized and functional communication assessments and write clear, practical reports and recommendations.Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and communication goals in collaboration with clients and families.Offer caregiver training and consultation on communication strategies and AAC use.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, behaviour analysts/therapists) and participate in case discussions.Complete timely, high-quality documentation in accordance with CASLPO and Progressive Steps policies.RequirementsMasters degree in Speech-Language Pathologyregistration in good standing with CASLPOexperience and comfort working with autistic individuals and those with developmental disabilitiesstrong collaboration, communication, and documentation skillvalid drivers license and ability to travel for community-based workAssets (Preferred)experience with AACexperience facilitating group communication programsfamiliarity with neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
