Influenced by our co-operative values, our team of experts work collaboratively with clients to deliver solutions that meet their business needs.The Contract Administrator is responsible for writing and issuing standard group insurance policies, amendments, letters of agreement and booklets/brochures. This position is also responsible for providing back up support for the File Clerk and assisting in various tasks and projects as assigned.How you will create impact:Prepares new group policies and booklets for clientsReviews requests for policy amendments, investigates any missing or conflicting information regarding the request, summarizes changes and prepares final policy amendment documentsReviews requests for letters of agreement, investigates any missing or conflicting information, prepares and sends letter of agreementReview last copy of booklet file to ensure all changes in policy are reflectedUploads booklet to website for plan sponsors and prepares booklet for print and distributionReviews current policies to determine which policy provisions require amendmentsPrepares mass amendments to existing policiesPrepares communication for service representative outlining changes and uploads booklet to website for plan sponsorsHow you will succeed:You influence change and are committed to continuous improvement, in order to exceed client expectations.You leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.Your strong communication skills allow you to clearly convey messages.Youre an effective team player who shares knowledge to support our peers.To join our team:Two years group benefits experience or related post secondary education.Good analytical skills.Previous knowledge of group insurance products and standard group policy wording would be an asset.What you need to know:You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.Whats in it for you?Training and development opportunities to grow your career.Flexible work options to support personal and family needs.A holistic approach to your well-being, with physical and mental health programs and a supportive workplace culture.Volunteer opportunities to give back to your community.Salary informationExpected salary/hourly range $42,488 - $70,813Salary placementThe salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.Incentive payEmployees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics. #J-18808-Ljbffr
