Plan daily activities for and with all subtrades. Build supervision team & Labourer team Keep a clean and safe site at all times Create, manage, and maintain 3-6 week schedule, which aligns with the master schedule. Assist project manager in weekly subtrade meetings. Strategically plan and implement manpower levels and material quantities to ensure proper equipment and trades are available as required. In conjunction with the Project Manager/scheduler, develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule to ensure project milestones and completion dates are met. Manage questions/issues that arise onsite (regarding plans, unforeseen conflicts/problems/errors). Manage labourer team. Maintain daily logs to accurately track site progress, events, inspections, weather conditions, manpower numbers, issues, etc. Coordinate all aspects of site activities. Develop positive relationships with trades, suppliers and city officials to ensure cooperation and efficiency of operations. Manage disagreements/issues/conflicts between trades. Assist with the shop drawings/site instruction process (review and comment documents). Assist with risk registry (providing data, issues, and concerns for analysis). Manage and optimize crane time between subtrades. Create, manage, and optimize site logistics plan at all times, reviewing periodically. Lead the quality control program to ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes. Assist in managing project coordinators with the deficiency process. Manage project site access closures when required. Ensure the site, activities, and all persons and companies on site always respect all OH&S regulations. Manage the daily opening and closing of the site. Assist with scope gap analysis for contracts. Plan and manage inspections with city. Verify that all subtrades have all appropriate permits (specifically mechanical and electrical) Reports to: Market Lead/ General Manager Requirements: 7-10 years of site supervision experience in a commercial or multiresident environment experience building and managing site teams Experience in multiresidential & Prefabricated Builds Experience in buildings 8+ stories tall Experience with deep foundation work ( excavation, foundations etc) Project experience should be with projects ranging in value from $40M to $100M. Understanding of applicable health & safety and constructionrelated legislation. Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to lead others and thrive in a team environment. Proficient with email, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc., and/or similar softwares. Proficient with online cloud construction management software (such as BuildEnd, Fieldwire, Bim360, ProCore, etc.) Proficient in interpreting drawings and specifications. Capable of anticipating constructability issues in moderately complex situations and creating solutions to minimize the impact on the project schedule and budget.
