What You''ll Do: Scheduling & Day-of Operations Manage day-of sick calls and emergency scheduling calls, escalating issues as required Communicate with Supervisors and the People & Culture team to ensure appropriate coverage is maintained Ensure all scheduling operations are aligned with the Collective Agreement and relevant legislation Support with scheduling-related administrative tasks as assigned People & Culture Support Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and professional assistance Maintain accurate and confidential employee files in our HRIS (UKG) Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation as needed Assist with data entry, filing, and record management to support People & Culture processes Assist with recruitment activities, including resume review and conducting phone screens using provided questions and templates Support interview coordination, reference checks, and follow up communication with candidates Assist with onboarding and offboarding logistics including document preparation and verification and training coordination Assist with People & Culture projects, employee engagement initiatives, and data audits What You Bring: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or related field (or completion expected) Interest in pursing a career in Human Resources Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal Time Management: Self-motivated and the ability to be flexible to meet Agency needs and project deadlines Attention to Detail: excellent attention to detail is required Organizational Skills: Rygiel relies on our team to be very organized and efficient in their approach to solving problems and implementing solutions Must be familiar with Office365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel); Experience or familiarity with HRIS and ATS (specifically UKG) would be considered a strong asset but is not required Bilingualism in French is an asset A successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check and 2-Step TB Test will be required from the successful candidate Additional Job Requirements: This is a part time position, with hours scheduled between 6am and 10pm, with the majority of the hours being before and after the ''standard'' work day, as well as on weekends and holidays.Our work includes weekends and holidays, as the Agency is a 24/7/365 operation. When scheduled during core business hours, the expectation is for staff to be onsite at 220 Cranbrook Drive. During ''off'' business hours, staff will work remotely. This position involves regular hours with some flexibility for coordination of interviews and onboarding. Various physical actions of mobility are required i.e. driving, minimal lifting, standing, walking, reaching and bending. Moderate to maximum eye motion, wrist and digit motions, with significant concentration, memory, and focus required throughout the workday. and play a leading role in building communities where everyone belongs.
