Description Some of what you will do: The Regional Sales Manager Contract Furniture leads a high performing sales team to achieve profitable growth, expand market penetration, and strengthen long term customer relationships across their region. This role provides hands on coaching and collaborative leadership to support the team in driving account development, new business acquisition, and vertical market growth, while partnering with the Furniture Director of Sales on sales strategy, forecasting, and regional growth plans. Working with their team, the Regional Sales Manager engages key industry stakeholdersincluding Architecture & Design (A&D), Commercial Real Estate, Facilities, Construction, and Procurementand collaborates with manufacturing suppliers to deliver competitive solutions and support successful project execution across their region. The Regional Sales Manager recruits, hires, manages, coaches, and develops all sales team members to ensure strong performance, capability development, and consistent execution aligned with organizational Specifically, You Will: Recruit, train, coach, develop, and manage the ongoing performance of sales team members. Build and maintain senior level relationships with key regional accounts to support retention and growth. Participate in sales calls, field days, project meetings, and business reviews to assist Furniture Account Managers in active opportunities. Provide ongoing training and development to support team capability in solution selling, project execution, and account strategy. Conduct regular 1:1s to remove barriers, support deal pursuit, and guide career development. Achieve sales, profitability, penetration, and customer retention targets across the region. Ensure consistent execution of organizational performance metrics, sales processes, and customer experience standards. Provide clear goals, expectations, and timely coaching, ensuring development plans are in place for all team members. Lead account planning with Account Managers and Specialists to drive pipeline development and competitive positioning. Ensure all sales activities, customer data, and funnel information are accurately maintained in CRM (SFDC) and other required systems. Collaborate daily with customers, the sales team, internal functional partners (pricing, implementation, marketing, sales enablement), and manufacturing suppliers to support project success and resolve issues. Some of what you need: Bachelor''s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of sales management experience in a B2B or project driven environment required 710 years of progressive B2B sales experience with strong performance in project based or solutions driven environments. 35 years of experience in contract furniture or a closely related field (commercial interiors, architectural products, building materials). 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and developing sales teams. Proven ability to manage complex, multi stakeholder sales cycles and build relationships within the A&D, commercial real estate, and facilities communities. Strong skills in sales planning, forecasting, account strategy, and driving regional growth. Comfortable in a fast-paced, operationally intense industry. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy. Demonstrated track record of over-achievement against individual and team quotas. Strong business sense and industry experience & knowledge. Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, conferences. Ability to coach, performance manage, lead, motivate, and manage for desired results. Strong analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills and the ability to motivate behaviour change. Strong business, financial, operations, and technical acumen. Adaptable and open to changing process when it''s right for your team, the business and the customer you serve. Computer literacy, including above average competency in Microsoft Programs.
