You''ll get real hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting websites while working alongside experienced developers. Candidates must be located in Calgary and currently enrolled in post-secondary school. Responsibilities: Build, customize, and maintain client websites using WordPress and Gutenberg. Support front-end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. Assist with back-end tasks including PHP, MySQL, and plugin implementation. Conduct QA, debugging, and troubleshooting of web projects. Implement on-page SEO best practices and monitor site performance. Collaborate with designers, content specialists, and marketing strategists. Learn and use Git/version control for project workflows. Participate in internal culture eventsfoosball tournaments, office games, and team lunches. Candidate Profile Experience / Skills: Familiarity with WordPress development (themes, plugins, CMS) Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL/MariaDB, WordPress plugin development Exposure to Git or other version control systems Understanding of responsive design and website performance optimization Nice-to-have: Elementor, Divi or Shopify development experience Portfolio of websites/projects is a plus Qualities: Detail-oriented: you sweat the small stuff.
