Summary: A Shop Assistant in the automotive industry helps mechanics, technicians, and customers in a repair shop, dealership, or parts store. The individual will assist with inventory, customer service, cleaning, and basic vehicle maintenance, ensuring the shop runs smoothly. Major Responsibilities: DRIVER''S LICENSE MANDATORY Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to the highest standard. Regularly clean and organize the shop to maintain a tidy and safe environment. Support technicians by preparing tools and materials and keeping work areas organized Assisting technicians Maintaining shop supplies and keep track of shop supplies, and notify management when items need to be replenished. Arranging vehicles in the lot and organize vehicles & parts for the next day''s work Other duties as assigned by manager. Continuous Learning & Improvement: We are committed to our employee''s continuous learning and development and as such, training is provided through orientation, appointment coordinator training program, self-assessments and coaching sessions and demonstrations with managers. Qualifications & Skills: Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality in all tasks Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks A team player that works well with others to ensure efficient operations.
