With three branches and over 250 pieces of equipment. We are currently seeking a detail-orientated Dispatcher to join our GP base. As a Dispatcher, you''ll be the vital link between our clients, operators, and on-site teams. Your primary goal will be to ensure smooth and efficient operations by coordinating schedules, communicating effectively, and problem-solving on the fly. Qualifications: Possess a valid Driver''s Licence (Class 5 minimum) Preferred valid Class 1 Licence 3 year minimum of proven experience Clean commercial vehicle driver''s abstract (5years) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to express a positive attitude in stressful situations / handle stress effectively and constructively. Strong understanding of all safety regulations Local to Grande Prairie, Alberta. Axon experience, an asset. Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch cranes to provide the most-timely service possible. Comply with all safety regulations and JDA company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and the public. Direct the pickup ad delivery activities of drivers. Monitor progress and provide updates as required. Resolve any issues or delays, with quick and effective solutions. Reconcile employee hours with GPS and assist in entering employee hours into specialized system. Advise personnel about traffic problems such as road bans, weather conditions and other hazards. Ensure hours of service regulations are followed. Receive and process transportation requirements, such as permits. Perform all other duties as required. Certifications & Training: Valid First Aid Valid H2S Be certified in ODA or equivalent for defensive driving (preferred, but will train) Be certified in Hours of Service and Fatigue Management (preferred, but will train) Please be sure to include resume, a copy of applicable tickets and recent commercial vehicle driver''s abstract.
