Duties Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored to each student''s individual needs. Assist students with understanding core concepts in subjects such as math, computer science, or special education. Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning outcomes. Use effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active participation. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional methods as needed. Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to succeed. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student development and address specific learning challenges. Utilize computer skills to prepare digital resources and track student performance efficiently. Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of math, computer science, or related subjects; classroom experience is a plus. Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset Background in teaching or special education is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently. Proficiency in computer skills for creating instructional materials and tracking progress. Passion for education and helping students succeed academically. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs. Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided.
