Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic problems. Repair or replace powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials to restore optimal vehicle performance. Execute wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety features operate correctly. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete tasks safely and effectively. Qualifications Proven service shop experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, steering, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains. Familiarity with automotive schematics, diagnostics software, and electronic troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery. Service technician experience with a focus on customer service excellence is preferred. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics for efficient repairs. Strong commitment to vehicle safety standards and quality workmanship.
